The first Villa Gyetvai wines of the 2024 vintage are well on their way. With this in mind, we thought it would be helpful to review the characteristics of this vintage, to help you better understand and appreciate the wines when you taste them.
14 June - 15 July 2025 // The artist summarises her artistic philosophy as follows: ‘Behind the role of beauty queen, there has always been another me: the creator. For me, painting is freedom, self-identity and inner dialogue. There are no expectations on the canvas – only honest feelings reign supreme.’
The 2023 vintage of our Riesling has just made its debut in our portfolio, having won a gold medal in the spring at the 11th St. Urban's Wine Competition and the Balatonfüred-Csopak Wine Region Wine Competition.
10 May - 9 June 2025 // Attila László Gyulai will return to the exhibition halls of our winery. This time we will be able to see his latest works in an exhibition entitled Golden - Aranyló szimbolika.
The concentration of the top batches of the variety is particularly high near Csopak, which is why it is so valuable for us that Villa Gyetvai's 2024 Olaszrizling was chosen as the Olaszrizling of the Year at the Csopak and Surrounding Region Wine Communities Competition.

The Austrian wine magazine Vinaria has made a comprehensive assessment of the Kékfrankos grape variety, searching for its best expressions in several countries. Among the Czech, German, Austrian, Slovakian, Slovenian and Hungarian Kékfrankos, the publication highlighted Villa Gyetvai's 2021 Kékfrankos in both the Hungarian and international top lists.
29 March 2025 // At the end of March we will open the first exhibition of 2025 at Villa Gyetvai Winery. Katrin Bettenhäuser's exhibition, entitled "15 years of Paintings - Résumé", will feature a selection of her favourite paintings.
8 May 2025 // The four-course wine dinner's highlight will surely be a chocolate bomb enriched with roses and strawberries, accompanied by an aged Cabernet Franc that is no longer commercially available. And the rhythm and melody will once again be provided by DJ titzkrisztian and his vinyl records.
