On 23 August, at 18:00, the exhibition of photographer Márk Somogyi opened in Villa Gyetvai, which will be on display until 22 September.
We are celebrating August with a super wine dinner at Villa Gyetvai, in the heart of Balatonfüred. Dániel Varga, the chef of the Michelin Guide-listed Füge restaurant in Tihany, has created a seven-course menu, which will be accompanied by Villa Gyetvai wines.
In June, the 20th Balaton Wine Competition, the biggest wine competition of the Balaton Wine Region, was held in Veszprém, where our 2021 Kékfrankos won a special prize.
Guests are welcome to visit the exhibition of the painter Nándor Bozsóki at Villa Gyetvai from 20 July to 20 August. As well as visiting the exhibition, which is free of charge, you can also taste wines from the Villa Gyetvai Winery, either while admiring the works of art or sitting on the terrace of the villa or in the shade of the ancient trees in the park.
The Vinitaste wine competition is held annually in Brussels, Belgium. This year, our 2021 Rajnai Rizling was awarded a gold medal by the international jury.
From April 12th we will be open again with permanent opening hours in our wine cellar in Füred. On the ground floor of the villa, which is also home to the winery, you can taste our wines - both teh latest bottlings and older vintages that are no longer available on the market.
On 12 August, a joint exhibition by glass artist Judit Fűri and designer Brigitta Tenkes will open at the Gyetvai Villa in Balatonfüred. The glass sculptures and abstract paintings will decorate the rooms of the villa until 18 September.
Created by Zsófia Pályi, a photographer who has won several Hungarian and international awards, "Balaton, the Hungarian Sea" has already been featured in the international press, on CNN and as the opening photo report in the US National Geographic magazine.
