Guests are welcome to visit the exhibition of the painter Nándor Bozsóki at Villa Gyetvai from 20 July to 20 August. As well as visiting the exhibition, which is free of charge, you can also taste wines from the Villa Gyetvai Winery, either while admiring the works of art or sitting on the terrace of the villa or in the shade of the ancient trees in the park.
Nándor Bozsóki told us about his own artistic journey: 'I have always been attracted to unique and special solutions, experimenting with colours, tools and materials. I like to create new structures and colour combinations. At first I painted murals and started painting on canvas only later.
Abstract painting is my field of choice. I really like non-figurative, slightly mystical things, and I love waves, figures with wavy lines. These patterns are reflected in my work. I get my ideas from countless things. I'm strongly influenced by nature – whether it's the starry sky or Lake Balaton – and the four elements, which are reflected in my paintings in unusual forms.
The first painter who influenced me was Tamás Bimbó, who paints wonderful landscapes. I can admire his work every day, as some of his paintings decorate the walls of my house. During my artistic journey I also discovered the works of Judit Reigl and Kálmán Makláry, who never cease to impress me'.
The exhibition is open during the opening hours of the villa and is free of charge.
