No wine combines elegance and joie de vivre better than traditionally made sparkling wine. We made our first Belvedere Brut sparkling wine from Furmint grapes to pay tribute to the traditions of the northern Balaton region, where Furmint was an important grape variety before the phylloxera epidemic. The purity of Furmint combined with the brut category was the ideal choice to showcase the unique terroir character and the evolution through bottle ageing.

The fine perlage is a delight to behold. The aroma is refined and gentle, as one would expect from this type of wine, but if you pay close attention, countless layers are revealed: the yellow-fleshed fruitiness characteristic of the grape variety emerges, and delicate brioche notes framed by minerality appear thanks to bottle ageing. The palate is focused, with acidity providing the backbone. A true classic. It has a tight structure, defined by lemon, pear and minerality. Life is beautiful!
