Cabernet Franc 2021

A chapter in the winery's history will close with the 2021 vintage of Cabernet Franc. The raw material for both wines comes from the Ráta vineyard in Tihany, which no longer exists. We are now working to plant new varieties in this important area. In the meantime, we are happy to taste our Francs from this area, which offer a lighter, more refreshing take on this French grape.

A medium deep ruby red wine, complex and multi-layered both on the nose and palate. It offers a mix of floral, fruity and oak notes: violets, cherries, chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. On tasting the wine reveals a range of aromas: blackcurrant, chocolate, rosemary, thyme and cherry. This is a wine with a long ageing potential. Pair it with red meats.
