On 12 August, a joint exhibition by glass artist Judit Fűri and designer Brigitta Tenkes will open at the Gyetvai Villa in Balatonfüred. The glass sculptures and abstract paintings will decorate the rooms of the villa until 18 September.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on 12 August at 18:00. Come along, the artists are looking forward to seeing all art lovers! The event will be opened by Zsolt Gyetvai, winemaker and owner, who will welcome visitors with his award-winning Fűszeres Tramini from the 2021 vintage. The exhibition is open during the opening hours of the Villa and is free of charge.
Judit Fűri's exhibited sculptures create intimate feelings and memories from light, shapes and colour, evoking memories through the material of glass. Her sculptures are imbued with creation and transformation, reshaping the material as they are created, suffused with meaning, reflecting her feelings and sensitivity to others. She is one of the most versatile artists in Hungarian glass art. Her oeuvre seamlessly crosses through styles, technologies and imagination.
Brigitta Tenkes creates stylish abstract paintings, typically inspired by the beauty of nature. "I feel that works inspired by nature create a warmer, more harmonious atmosphere, whether at home or at work". The designer, who has exhibited at home and abroad, prefers to adapt her paintings to the interior and even the client's needs. It is also important to her to make her paintings widely available and affordable.
