In the cycle of existence there is order and chaos, nothing is permanent and everything is transitory. Our efforts to create order are constant, but finding peace is only possible for a short time.
We would like to invite you to the joint exhibition of glass artist Judit Fűri and photographer Csaba Boa Jr. at Villa Gyetvai from 9 August to 8 September.
Judit Fűri's glass sculptures evoke intimate feelings and memories through light, shape and colours. Her sculptures are permeated by creation and transformation, when they are created the material is reshaped, filled with meaning, reflecting her feelings and her sensitivity towards others. Between 1988 and 2024 she participated in more than 100 exhibitions in Europe, both at home and abroad. A winner of the Europa Nostra award, she is one of the most versatile artists in Hungarian glass art. Her work crosses styles, technologies and imagination without limits. Besides her glass sculptures, she also designs and restores glass for interior decoration. In 2005, she co-authored a book entitled The Painted Light - Decorative Glass Works in the Architecture of Historic Hungary until 1945, a long overdue survey of the field.

Csaba Boa Jr's passion for photography began as a child and really blossomed during his years in the UK. His style was strongly inspired and shaped by Alan Schaller, whose monochrome photographs rely on both contrast and negative space. In his day-to-day life he works in advertising as both a photographer and content creator, but the subjects closest to his heart are minimalism, architecture and social photography.

At the opening ceremony Benjamin Urbán, finalist of the Virtuózok talent contest, pianist of the Snétberger Music Talent Centre will perform.
Free admission!
The exhibition is open until 8 September, and you can taste the wines of Villa Gyetvai during or after the opening hours, even while looking at the beautiful pictures.
